How Corporate Business Equipment uses information from website requests, live chat and website analytics.
Corporate Business Equipment (CBE) uses information you choose to provide through this website to respond to quote requests, service requests, toner or supply requests, general contact messages and live chat.
When you submit a website form, we may collect your name, company, email address, phone number, city or postal code, equipment details, message, and the page or product connected to your request. You may also choose to attach photos or documents, such as equipment error screens, room sketches or other files that help explain your request. Website attachments are stored in private Hub storage and are available only through authenticated staff access rather than public website file links. Live chat may collect your name, email address, company and chat messages. We use this information to respond to you, route your request to the appropriate CBE team and keep a business record of the interaction.
The website also records limited first-party usage information such as page or product views, clicked calls to action, an anonymous session identifier, referral source and campaign parameters. CBE uses these counts to understand website performance and inquiry conversion. Browser session storage keeps the anonymous session and campaign attribution while you browse.
Optional Google Analytics 4 may be enabled by CBE. When it is configured, Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose to allow analytics in the website privacy controls. You can change that choice later using Privacy Settings in the website footer.
The public website is not intended to collect payment-card information, passwords, financial account information or other sensitive information. Please do not send that information through website forms or live chat.
Website information may be accessed by CBE staff who need it to respond to your inquiry, provide service, manage customer relationships, maintain the website or review aggregate performance. CBE may also use service providers that support hosting, email, communications or analytics where needed to operate the website.
